Three-Row Jeep® Grand Cherokee Coming Soon

January 8th, 2019 by

If you have a few kids, you understand the necessity of having lots of space in the family car. Unfortunately, there currently are not any three-row options if you want to buy a Jeep®. That is set to change, however, with the addition of a three-row Jeep® Grand Cherokee by 2021.

Upgrades Coming Soon

According to Motor Trend, a next-generation Grand Cherokee is set to bow for the 2021 model year and it will reportedly offer a much-requested third-row option. This will be great news for families who want a spacious vehicle that is more adventurous that the average crossover.

Along with its new, family-friendly features, the redesigned Grand Cherokee will offer a host of advanced self-driving and safety features to take it into the modern era. Buyers will still be able to get the Grand Cherokee with just two rows of seats if that is what they prefer.

Made in America

Other great news is the fact that FCA is planning to build this new model in an idle engine plant in the Detroit area. Retooling the Mack Avenue Engine Complex would help create about 400 new American jobs and would be the first new plant to open in Detroit in 27 years.
